Day 1: Chiang Mai/Doi Inthanon/Mae Chaem ( L/D )
07:30 am Pick up from your Chiang Mai hotel and Visit Wat Pra That Sri Chomthong Luang, a much resprected temple of Northern Thai people. The famous procession “Maikham” is held annually during Songkran festival. Visit Mae Klang Waterfall, the most famous waterfall in Chiang Mai where you can spend time relaxing or swimming. Visit Wachiratharn waterfall surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. You then head off to a Karen hillitrbe village The Karen are very peaceful and gentle people. You can leasurely walk around the village seeing the local families traditional culture and lifestyle. Continue to the Royal Project for development of replacement flowers and vegetables that once used to be opium cultivation. Lunch at a local restaurant.
You then have a one hour trek at Gew Mae Paan Natural trail. While walking along a winding path through pristine forest you wills see beautiful view of the mist filled valley below. This short trail allows the hiker to experience the natural beauty of the forest at first hand. After trekking, continue to visit the twin pagoda called “Napamaytanidol Chedi”, the magnificent chedi completed in 1989 to honor the 60th birthday of King Bhumipol. Then head off to the summit of Doi Inthanon, the highest peak in Thailand.
04:00 am : Drive to Mae Chaem district to the villages of Dteen Jok Sarong Weavers. Here you will see traditional thai life in the mountains. Overnight at Home stay Thai house with dinner. |

Day 2: Mae Chaem/Chiang Mai. ( B/L )
Early breakfast and then cycle along a small road to the village where you visit the morning local market with many local foods, fruit and vegetables. You visit the cotton weaving village where most of the villagers are skilled in this beautiful handloom technique. The unique style of weaving produces sarongs that are available in a number of elegant designs. You continue your cycling journey observing farmers cultivating their crops and visit ancient temples and the Monk’s school at Wat Padae.
Leave from house and lunch at a local restaurant and head to Baan Tawai one of Chiangmai's most famous handicraft areas renowned for antiques, wood carving, and high quality teak furniture
Transfer back to your hotel in Chiangmai or transfer to your next destination.

Day 2: Chiangrai/Chiangmai (B/L)
After breakfast visit the ancient town of Chiangsaen, the first capital of the Lanna Kingdom, situated on the banks of the legendary Mekhong river which winds its path through China. Explore the ancient ruins here. Proceed to the world-renowned Golden Triangle where the borders of Thailand, Laos and Burma meet at the confluence of the mighty Mekhong river where a panoramic view of the river and the three countries can be seen. Lunch at a local restaurant. You then head off to Mae Sai which is a flourishing Mynmar border town, it is also the Northern most point of Thailand. Here you can enjoy shopping at the many shops and stalls.
Transfer back to your hotel in Chiangmai or transfer to your next destination

07.00 am Chiang Mai hotel pick up heading north out into the countryside to visit an elephant camp in lush green jungle area. You will see these magnificent animals bathe, after which a demonstration is held showing how these talented animals are used in the timber industry, pushing, dragging and rolling logs using their tusks, powerful trunks and feet. Drive further to Thaton, a village situated on the bank of the Maekok river where lunch is served. After lunch, it’s an exhilarating long tail boat trip on the Maekok river where you view beautiful natural scenery. You will visit a Lahu hill tribe village and a Karen village. The longtail boat trip crosses a few rapids on route to Chiangrai where you will be transferred to your hotel. After rest and relaxation dinner is served at a local restaurant. |

There is a beautiful view overlooking Burmese mountains, city, and temples. Then off to the Golden Triangle where you visit the Opium House at the legendary Maekong river which winds its path through China to the Golden triangle. Standing on Thai soil you will see Burma and Laos. Lunch is served at a restaurant. From the Golden Triangle you head off to the ancient city of Chiangsean, original capital of the Lana kingdom, originating around around 1328, You can visit a multitude of sites including, ancient temples, stupas, ancient city wall and moat.
Return to your hotel in Chiang Mai around 8:00pm or airport drop off for your next destination.

On arrival our tour guide will transfer you to the long tail boat pier for an exhilarating 45 minute long tail boat trip along the Pai river. You view fantastic natural scenery, teak covered mountains and pass small riverside villages living as they did centuries ago. The long tail boat stops at a Padong Long Neck Hilltribe village. The women wear golden rings around their necks and it is customary to add a ring each year. Return by long tail boat and transfer back to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. |

Day 2: Mae Hong Son (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Then visit splendid Burmese style temples Wat Jongkam, Wat Jongklang, Wat Doi Kong Moo and Wat Hao Wieng. From the top of Wat Doi Kong Moo, you will have an amazing view over Mae Hong Son and the surrounding countryside. Proceed to Fish Cave, where thousands of large fish considered sacred can be seen in the river which disappears into a cave in the mountain. Return back to town for lunch at a local restaurant.

Visit Wat Namhoo which contains a sacred Chiang Saen Buddha image. The Buddhas topknot opens and contains holy water which is sought after by local Thais. You then visit a Chinese village with Chinese mud houses. Many locally grown teas’s can be tasted here. Lunch is served in Pai at a Thai restaurant. On return to Chiang Mai you visit Hoy Nam Dang National park which bridges Mae Hong Son and Chiang Mai. There are breathtaking views over the mountains. Day 2: Sukhothai/Phitsanulok (B/L)
Early morning start 08:00 am to wander in the Ancient ruins of Sukothai City. This is the best time of day for natural sunlight to produce good photographs. Guests may hire bicycles, walk, or use the Tour Bus to visit the city ruins. From Sukothai you are off to Phitsanuloke to see the most beautiful Buddha in Thailand, Phra Buddha Chinnarat. This Buddha was built in Ayuttaya Kingdom. King Aketotsarot performed the first ceremony in Sukothai for the Buddha in the 17th century. Lunch will be served in Phitsanuloke at a local restaurant. After lunch you will visit a Buddha foundry where you can witness the facinating manufacturing process. Then off to visit the Thai Folklore Museum were you can see many antique implements used on Thai homes and farms in the past.

Pick up from hotel or Chiangmai Airport from where you visit Buddist temples in town and make merit. You then journey with long tail boat along the cool waters of the Ping River, enjoying the ever-changing scenery. Stop at Thai farmer's house and see the cultivation of jasmine rice and a variety of herbs for use in medicine and cookery. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue on to visit Doi Suthep temple, one of Thailand's most revered Temples and must be visited. The Buddhist Temple is situated on top of the Eastern Mountain from where you have a beautiful view over ChiangMai city 15 Km below. Then transfer back to your hotel.
07:30 pm : Enjoy and relax to the sounds and beauty of Traditional Northern Thai dance Khantoke Dinner "Traditional Dinner" and Thai Classical Dance, the customary Northern Thai style of eating food served on large platters . Day 2: Chiangmai/Weing Khum Kam/Lamphun/Lampang/Chiangmai. ( L/D )
Chiang Mai hotel pick up, a half hour drive takes you to visit the ruined city and temples of Wiang Kum Kam former capital of the Lanna Kingdom. Proceed along an ancient road 12 Km long sheltered by 130 year old majestic trees to Lumphun. Visit Hariphunchai temple, the main temple of Lamphun.Proceed to Lampang and short stop at Tung Kaiewn Jungle market where you will find jungle food not seen by europeans. Continue to visit Wat Phrathat Lampang Luang one of the North's finest temples. The chedi towers above surrounding trees. To the left of the chedi is a viham with a carved wood fasade with double level roofs. Harmonious proportions and exquisite interior decoration make Wat Phrathat Lampang Luang one of the best examples of Northern-style religious architecture. Arrive at Lampang and lunch at a restaurant. Then a short tour by horse carriage which is the symbol of Lampang. Return back to Chiangmai and stop at Transfer back to hotel. Evening : Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 3: Chiangmai ( L )
08:30 am hotel pick up from where you head off to visit the Hot spring at Sankampeang where high temperature water can boil eggs, stop for a coffee break then drive to visit Baan Chang Nak, where you see the traditional ancient art of Lanna Elephant Wood Carving. You will interesting visit the
Museum of Elephant wood carving. Lunch at a local restaurant You visit a Lanna village where famous traditional handicrafts are produced. These skills have been handed down from generation to generation. You set off at 08:30 am to visit Wat Prakaew in Chiang Rai City. This Thai Temple with a rich history was built over 600 years ago. According to Thai history the famous Emerald Buddha now in Bangkok Grand Palace was originally found in a stuppa struck by lightning in the grounds of the temple. The Emerald Buddha resided in Wat Prakaew for 45 years, from where it was moved to many countries and places in Thailand until 200 years ago residing in the Grand Palace in Bangkok. The current Jade Buddha was made for the current Kings mother when she was 90 years old. You are then off to the Kok River where you take a long tail boat up the winding river to visit a Karen hilltribe village. Guests can visit the hilltribe school. The bus then heads off from the village to Chiang Rai where lunch will be served at a local restaurant or Hotel buffet. 07:30 am Your guide will meet you at your hotel in Bangkok. You head off to visit Ayutthaya, which was the Thai capital for 417 years. Here you visit Bang Pa-Inn King Summer Palace where the buildings are constructed in western and eastern architectural styles. Wat Phra Si Sanphet temple is the most important temple within the Royal Palace compound and corresponds to The Emerald Buddha Temple in Bangkok’s Grand Palace. Wat Yai Chaimongkol temple, is also called “Wat Chao Phraya Thai” which was built By King U-Thong in 1357.
Lunch is served at a local restaurant.
Leave from Ayutthaya to Lopburi, formerly known as "Lawo" which one of the important ancient towns of the Khmers from the 10th-13th century. Many Khmer ruins are found in and around this town. Visit Phra Prang Sam Yot this former Hindu shrine is some 200 metres high. The literate and sandstone structure was constructed in the Lop Buri style and decorated with stucco. Then continue your journey passing beautiful scenery of rice field countryside to Phitsanuloke. Overnight at hotel in Phitsanulok.
Day 2: : Phitsanuloke – Sukhothai. ( B,L )

At Phitsanuloke you will see what is believed by Thais to be the most beautiful Buddha in Thailand, Phra Buddha Chinnarat. This Buddha was built in Ayuttaya Kingdom. King Aketotsarot performed the first ceremony in Sukothai for the Buddha in the 17th century. Then tour the Buddha foundry where you can witness facinating manufacturing process. Then off to visit the Thai Folklore Museum were you can see many antique implements used in Thai homes and farms in the past.
Lunch is served at a local restaurant.
Continue to wander in the Ancient ruins of Sukothai City. This is the best time of day for natural sunlight to produce good photographs. Guests may hire bicycles, walk, or use the Tour Bus to visit the city ruins. you head off to Si Satchanalai , built after Sukhothai and which dates back to the 12th century where you can wander in the ancient city ruins. The tour finishes in the afternoon from where you transfer to hotel in Sukhothai.
Day 3: : Sukhothai – Lampang – Lampoon – Chiangmai. ( B,L )

08:00 am : Depart from the Historical park to the Srisatchanalai City, formerly the second city of Sukhothai. Si Satchanalai, built after Sukhothai and which dates back to the 12th century where you can wander in the ancient city ruins. Head off to the Charming City of Lampang. On the way, you can enjoy the scenery of lush teak forest. Arrive at Lampang City enjoy an exciting horse carriage ride around the city and visit the most famous temple with the Burmese and Lana styes at Wat Phrathat Lampang Laung. which dates back to 1486. The chapel is one of the oldest wooden buildings in Thailand. The murals inside the chapel are in very good condition and display very interesting stories of life in ancient Thailand.

Leave Lampang for Lampoon visit Wat Phrathat Haripoonchai, the ancient city of Lampoon, known in historic times as the Kingdom of Hariphunchai. An ancient Mon kingdom, it was founded in 660 and is the oldest existing city in the kingdom. As you enter the city, the remnants of the old fortified city walls and the surrounding moat, constructed in the 16th century, are still evident. See the ancient temple Wat Prathat Hariphunchai with its golden stupa. The temple grounds contain two impressive chedis, the taller of which, Ahtit Dayalat, stands a majestic 51 meters high. Transfer to Chiang Mai and transfer to your hotel.
Day 4: : Chiang Mai. ( B,L,D )

08:00 am : Depart from hotel to visit the famous Mae Sa Elephant Camp, where you can see elephants demonstrating their intelligence and skills and visit an elephant nursery. On route back to Chiang Mai, guests can relax and walk in Orchid gardens.

Visit most temple at “Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep” This is one of Thailand's most revered Temples and must be visited. This Buddhist Temple is situated on top of the Eastern mountain included in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, which is 262.5 Square km. in extent. The mountain has beautiful views overlooking Chiang Mai City 15 Km below. Leading up the mountain is a 300 step staircase to the temple. A naga (multi headed serpent) body on both sides of the staircase follows the staircase up the mountain. The multi head serpent head is at the base of the stairs. For those who need fast access to the temple there is an elevator. The mountains high altitude ensures the weather on the upper slopes is cool and pleasant all year round.
07:30 pm : Enjoy and relax to the sounds and beauty of Traditional Northern Thai dance Khantoke Dinner and Thai Classical Dance, the customary Northern Thai style of eating food served on large platters. As you enjoy your meal you are entertained by a selection of Northern Cultural performances including the charming Fon Lep (Thai Finger Dance), Ram Dab (Thai Sword Dance), Fon Thiean (Thai Candle Dance), and Ram Wong Dance (Group Dance) Guests are invited to join in the dance with the beautiful Thai dancers.

08:00 am : Depart from Lampang to Phayao, a unique rural town where it’s former glory may be
seen at Wat Srikomkam. Visit Phayao Lake which is the largest freshwater lake in northern
Thailand surrounded by beautiful hilly scenery. The lake is a breeding centre for fish, supplying
many excellent restaurants that line its shores. The Fishery Station is the first facility to successfully
breed giant catfish. Proceed to Chiang Rai and take long tail boat on Kok river for 45mins to visit a
Karen elephant village, and have the option of an elephant ride through the jungle.

Day 4: : Chaingrai – Chaingmai. ( B,L )

08:00 am : Depart from hotel to the ancient town of “ Chiang Saen”, the first capital of the Lanna
Kingdom, situated on the banks of the legendary Maekhong river which winds its path through China.
Explore the ancient ruins on the banks of the legendary Maekhong river here. Proceed to the
world-renowned Golden Triangle where the borders of Thailand, Laos and Burma meet at the
confluence of the mighty Mekhong river. A panoramic view of the river and the three countries can
be seen. Lunch at local restaurant. You then head off to Mae Sai which is a flourishing Myanmar
border town, it is also the Northern most point of Thailand. Here you can enjoy tax free shopping
at the many shops and stalls.
Transfer back to Chiangmai and overnight at hotel in Chiangmai.
Day 5: : Chiang Mai. ( B,L,D )

Day 5: : Chiang Mai – Thaton - Chiang Rai. ( L )
Breakfast at hotel.
08:30 am : Depart from the hotel in Chiangmai after breakfast to Chiang Dao visit Chiang Dao Caves,
believed to stretch for many kilometers into the mountain. Only a small part of the complex is
possible to explore. Two of the caves, Tham Phra Nawn and Tham Seua Dao, are illuminated by
electrics lights. Continue to Thaton where you visit Thaton Temple on top of a hill which overlooks
a beautiful valley and winding Kok river until 1880 was the Thai Burmese border below which until
1880 used to be the Thai Burmese border. Wat Thaton is one of the most peaceful and easily
accessible settings for meditation practice.

In the afternoon, experience an exciting longtail boat ride along the Mae Kok River to a
Shan village, where the vehicle will pick up to visit Yao and Akha hilltribe villages.
Each tribe has its own costumes, customs, culture and dialect.

Day 6: Chiang Rai – Golden Triangle – Chiang Mai ( L )
