Day 1 Chiangmai/Chiangdao/Doi Angkhang ( L/D )

08.00am Early departure from Chiangmai and our first stop is Chiang Dao elephant camp where you will see elephants bathing and a show where elephants respond to commands of trainers and demonstrate how they remove logs from the jungle. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to visit Chiang Dao Caves, believed to stretch for many kilometers into the mountain. Only a small part of the complex is possible to explore. Two of the caves, Tham Phra Nawn and Tham Seua Dao, are illuminated by electrics lights. We continue up the mountains to Doi Angkhang along some very scenic roads and spectacular views. Dinner and overnight at Angkhang Nature Resort.

Angkhang Nature resort, developed as part of the Royal Angkhang Research Station , under the Royal Project Foundation, Angkhang Nature Resort is situated a comfortable three hours-drive away from Chiangmai. Its mountain location, cool climate and the scenic beauty of the surrounding countryside make it the ideal getaway for nature lovers.

Day 2 Doi Angkhang/Chiangmai ( B/L )

After breakfast, the mule trek begins in the Baan Khum village takes approximately one and a  half hours and goes through the jungle and up to a point on the mountain where you can see across to Myanmar. We then visit the Royal Angkhang Agricultural station project, Research Station and explore agricultural project station, demonstration site for planting and researching flowering plants, temperate fruit trees, vegetables and other crops under the patronage of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej research project provides agricultural support to neighboring hilltribes and develops non-indigenous crops for them to grow. Local lunch en-route. Continue visit Lahu Hilltirbe village at Kob Dhong village where can see Burma’s military camp for 100 meter from Thailand and Baan Norlae Palong hilltribe. Transfer back to Chiangmai your hotel.

Day 1   : Chiang Mai/Doi Inthanon/Mae Chaem ( L/D )
07.30    : Depart from Chiang Mai to Chomethong District. Visit Wat Pra That Sri Chomthong Luang, about 58 kilometers and well known as the important and respective for northern people. The famous procession “Maikham” will be held annually during Songkran festival. Visit Mae Klang Waterfall, the most famous waterfall in Chiang Mai. Spend the time for relaxing or swimming. Drop at Wachiratharn waterfall. Touch with the natural scenery. After that, go to Karen hillitrbe village, the largest of major hilltribe in Thailand. The Karen people are very peaceful and gentle, enjoy around the village to visit the families. See the local tradition, the unique culture and way of life. Continue to the Royal Project, the plantation of many kinds of flowers that used to be the opium cultivation before. Lunch at local restaurant. Afterwards, trek at Gew Mae Paan Natural trail, takes about 1 hour to walk. A short walk from the left side of the road gives the viewer a chance to see a sea of mist filling the valley below  This short trail, winding through tall pristine forest for about 2. kilometers, a 2 hours walk, allows the hiker to experience the natural beauty of the forest at first hand. After trekking, continue to visit the twin pagoda called “Napamaytanidol Chedi”, the magnificent chedi completed in 1989 to honor the 60th birthday of King Bhumipol. Then go to the summit of Doi Inthanon, the highest peak in Thailand. Have a chance to see a sea of mist filling the valley below and panoramic view.
16.00 : Drive to Mae Chaem district, first is from Inthanon National Park. After reaching the km.38 , turn left go along the road 22 kilometers. The villages of the Dteen Jok Sarong Weavers. See the way of life and surrounded by mountain.  Overnight at Home stay Thai house & dinner.

Day 2 : Mae Chaem/Chiang Mai. ( B/L )
Early breakfast at house and cycling along small road to the village, visit morning local market there are many kind of local foods, fruits and vegetables. Then go to see the weaving cotton village is the most of the villagers in Tapaa sub-district are skilled in this beautiful handloom technique. This unique style of weaving produces sarongs that are available in a number of elegant designs, and which are remarkably cheap. Afterwards, continue cycling which you can look they work into their farm and cultivate. Visit the old temples and the Monk’s school at Wat Padae.
Leave from house and lunch at local restaurant. Drive back to Chiangmai and on the way visit Baan Tawai one of Chiangmai's famous handicraft areas and Its sister village, Baan Thawai, are Chiangmai's antique and one of the best known centers for wood carving.
Transfer back to the city at your hotel.

Explore the ancient ruins here. Proceed to the world-renowned Golden Triangle where the borders of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet at the confluence of the mighty Mekhong river. A panoramic view of the river and the three countries can be seen. Lunch at local restaurant .Then drive further on to Mae Sai. As well as being a flourishing border town ( with Myanmar ) it is also the northern most point of Thailand. Shop around for some Myanmar goodies. 07.30   After breakfast, depart Chiangmai, heading north out into the countryside to visit an elephant camp in a lush green jungle area. See these magnificent animals bathe, after which a demonstration is held to show you how these talented and trained animals are used in the timber industry, pushing, dragging and rolling logs using their tusks, powerful trunks and feet. Drive further on to Thaton, a village situated right on the banks of the Maekok river. Lunch will be served here. After lunch, it’s an exhilarating boat trip on the Maekok river along as the warm breeze zaps your face. Stops are made at a primitive Lahu hilltribe village and a Karen village. You are then off to the Measai River, border of Mynmar (Burma) where you visit the tax-free market that sells a variety of goods including carvings and clothing. There is a beautiful view overlooking Burmese mountains, city, and temples. Then off to the Golden Triangle where you visit the Opium House at the legendary Maekong river which winds its path through China to the Golden triangle. Standing on Thai soil you will can see Burma and Laos. Lunch will be served at a Thai Burmese restaurant on the Laos border. From the Golden Triangle you head off for the ancient city of Chiangsean, original capital of the Lana kingdom, originating around around 1328, You can visit a multitude of sites including, ancient temples, stupas, ancient city wall and moat.

Guests may hire bicycles, walk, or use the Tour Bus to visit the city ruins. From Sukothai you are off to Phitsanuloke to see the most beautiful Buddha in Thailand, Phra Buddha Chinnarat. This Buddha was built in Ayuttaya Kingdom. King Aketotsarot performed the first ceremony in Sukothai for the Buddha in the 17TH century. Lunch will be served in Phitsanuloke at a local restaurant. After lunch you will visit a Buddha foundry where you can witness the manufacturing process. Pick you up from hotel or Chiangmai Airport at 08.00am, take you to visit temples in town to making merit in Buddhism style. Then carried by long tails boat along the cool waters of the River Ping. Enjoy the ever-changing river scene. Stop at a local farmer's house and see for yourself the cultivation of jasmine rice and a variety of herbs for use both in medicine and cookery. Continue drive to visit Doi Suthep temple, this is one of Thailand's most revered Temples and must be visited. This Buddhist Temple is situated on top of the Eastern Mountain the most important in Chiangmai. Then transfer back to your hotel.
Evening : Dining on delicious northern Thai cuisine called “Khan Toke”. Tuck in and eat to your heart’s content. Day 2 : Chiangmai/Weing Khum Kam/Lampang/Lampoon/Chiangmai. ( L/D )
Pick you up from hotel at 08.00am to visit Weing Khum Kam, the ruined temple s of Wiang Kum Kam - the former capital of Lanna Kingdom.Then drive along the road that we are sheltered by 130 year old majestic trees for 12kms. Proceed to Lampang and short stop at Tung Kaiewn Jungle market where you can find jungle food or something which you never seen before. Continue to visit Wat Phrathat Lampang Luang one of the North's finest temples. The chedi towers above surrounding trees. To the left of the chedi is a viham with a carved wood facade and double level roofs. Harmonious proportions and exquisite interior decoration make Wat Phrathat Lampang Luang one of the best examples of Northern-style religious architecture. Arrive Lampang and lunch at restaurant. Then visit around by horse carriage is symbol of Lampang. Return back to Chiangmai and stop at Hariphunchai temple, the main temple of Lamphun. Transfer back to hotel.

Day 3 : Chiangmai ( L )
Pick you up from hotel at 08.30am visit the Hot spring at Sankampeang where the water has a high sculpture content which can even boiled eggs, stop for the coffee break then drive to Sankampeang visit Baan Chang Nak or Baan Jan Nak, Traditional Art of Lanna Elephant Wood Carving carving was founded on 1985 by Mr. Phet Wiriya, who has a strongly passion on the art of wood carving. You set off at 08:30 am to visit Wat Prakaew in Chiang Rai City. This Thai Temple with a rich history was built over 600 years ago. According to Thai history the famous Emerald Buddha now in Bangkok Grand Palace was originally found in a stuppa struck by lightning in the grounds of the temple. The Emerald Buddha resided in Wat Prakaew for 45 years, from where it was moved to many countries and places in Thailand until 200 years ago residing in the Grand Palace in Bangkok. The current Jade Buddha was made for the current Kings mother when she was 90 years old.  You are then off to the Kok River where you take a long tail boat up the winding river to visit a Karen hilltribe village. Guests can visit the hilltribe school. The bus then heads off from the village to Chiang Rai where lunch will be served at a local restaurant or Hotel buffet. Tour Details:

Day 1.  Chiangmai/Mae Malai/Pai (L/D)
08.00   Depart Chiangmai to visit an Orchid Farm filled with gorgeous orchid blooms in a blaze of multi-colors. Then in a lush jungle area, watch elephants bath after which a demonstration is held to show you how these splendid animals are used in the logging and rolling logs. Continue the trip with a visit to a local market at Mae Malai. Lunch will then be served after which the trip then proceeds to a Lisu hilltribe village. Of all the hilltribes in the country, the Lisu wear the most colorful and brightest costumes. Continue on to Pai, passing emerald green forests, hills and deep valleys. The drive alone is mesmerizing. Dinner and overnight at Resort.

Day 2.  Chiangmai/Pangmapha/Mae Hong Sorn (B/L/D)
08.00   After breakfast at the resort, leave for Tham Lod, the largest cave in Mae Hong Sorn and explore the wonders of the interior of it. Proceed on to Fish Cave, where thousands of fishes, considered sacred, frolic in their natural habitat. Drive further on to Mae Hong Sorn, the land of mists. Have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, enjoy a refreshing boat trip along on the Pai river to visit the exotic “Padong Long Neck Hilltribe”. The brass rings worn around the womenfolk’s necks is for decoration as well as for belief. Return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3.  Mae Hong Sorn/Chiangmai (B/L)
08.00    After breakfast at the hotel, visit Myanmar style temples Wat Jongkam, Wat Hao Wieng and Wat Doi Kong Moo. A spectacular view of town and the surrounding countryside can be seen from the last temple. Then lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Transfer to the airport to catch the flight back to Chiangmai.
