Tour Details:

Thailand Executive Travel guide will meet you at Chiang Mai International Airport and transfer you to your hotel where you can relax until the evening, when your guide will take you to a traditional Northern Thai Kantok Dinner where you will be entertained by elegant traditional Thai dancers after dinner you will see hilltribe dancers performing traditional dancing.

08:00am departure from hotel, and you head up Doi Suthep mountain where you will see one of Thailand's most revered Temples Doi Suthep Temple. The mountain has beautiful views overlooking Chiang Mai City 15 Km below.
This Buddhist Temple is situated on top of the Eastern mountain included in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, which is 262.5 Square Km in extent.
Leading up the mountain is a 300 step naga (multi headed serpent) staircase to the temple. The full length of the staircase on either side has the body of a serpent, with the multi head serpent heads at the base of the stairs. For those who need fast access the temple there is an elevator. The mountains high altitude ensures the weather on the upper slopes is cool and pleasant all year round. Lunch will be served on route to Pai at a local Thai Resturant.
On route you visit an orchid and butterfly farm farm where you will see hundreds of indigenous and rare orchids and butterflies. From here you head off to Pai where you will visit the local market where you will can see Lisu hilltribe and Thai Sahan life. Here you will view many interesting natural fresh products not normally seen by Europeans. From here you are transferred to your resort in the early eavining between 5:00pm and 7:00pm.

08:00am departure and you head off to visit a Lisu Hilltribe village. From here you travel on a very scenic route overlooking a beautiful valley and mountains. You are then off to Lod Cave you will visit a Lahu village where you will see the traditional homes and attractive traditional hill tribe costumes. At Lod Cave you will explore this fantastic cave on bamboo raft. From Lod Cave you have lunch at a real local resturant. From here you are off to Mae Hong Son where you will visit a sacred fish cave where fish swim in a river in to a cave in the side of a mountain. From here you visit Paasua Waterfall in the mountains. You are then off to Wat Pra Thad Doikongmoo which is a Thai Shan Templeon the top of a mountain where you will have a beautiful view over Mae Hong Son city in the valley below. You will also visit Burmese-style temples of Wat Prathadjongkam & Wat Prathadjongklang. You overnight at a Hotel or resort in Mae Hong Son.

At 06:00am you head off to Mae Hong Son Traditional Early Morning Market where you will see many natural products from the jungle and witness traditional Buddist offerings. You head back to the hotel for breakfast. From there you will have an exciting 1 hour elephant mountain ride in the jungle.
You will have a longtail boat ride up the winding and very scenic Pai River where you visit the Padong Long Neck Hilltribe Village. You return by bus to Mae Hong Son where you have lunch at a Thai resturant The afternoon is your free time when you can relax, swim or have a traditional Thai massage.

Morning transfer to Mae Hong Son Airport for flight to Chiangmai. IF FLIGHTS ARE AVAILABLE. In Chiang Mai You will do an ancient city and temple tour where you visit the ancient city wall and moat of Chiang Mai.
Visit the oldest temple in Chiang Mai - 710 years old, containing a sacred ancient crystal Budha.
Visit an ancient temple with the largest stupa in Chiang Mai –over 600 years old.
Visit an ancient temple with vivid murals showing Chiang Mai ancient Thai life.
You round the trip off with a very interesting visit to the local Thai market where you will meet local people, and witness the local Thai life style.
If flights NOT AVAILABLE you will head back to Chiang Mai on route passing through Doi Intanon National Park where you will visit the highest mountain in Thailand with an altitude of 2,565 meters.
The park nick named The Roof of Thailand, covers 482.40 km², and spreads from the lowlands at 800 meters altitude to the peak at 2565 meters.
Because of the altitude difference in the park there are many climatic and ecologically different areas. The park has the highest number of wild bird species of any region of Thailand. While on route to the peak you can visit 2 waterfalls named Vachirathan and Mea klang waterfall and a hill tribe market.
On the road to the mountain peak are 2 Chedi Temples in honor of the King and Queens 60th Birthday in 1987 and 1992.
Return to your hotel in Chiang Mai around 6:00pm

At 08:30 you are off to see the original ruined city Viangkungkam where you will see an original Thai home. From here you are off to Lamphun where you visit Haliphunchai Temple which is an original Thai Temple originally built 1300 years ago. There are many original relics including a pagoda.
Lunch will be served in a Thai restaurant.
The afternoon is spent visit Lanna villages maintaining the ancient skills and culture handed down from generation to generation to produce exquisite northern Thai products, including silverware, laquerware ,wood carving, Thai pottery, bamboo umbrellas, and the much sought after traditional Thai silk to name a few. As well as viewing the manufacturing processes, guests will have the opportunity to purchase these products. Return to your hotel in Chiang Mai around 5:00pm or airport drop off for your next destination.
